Yes we are opening the table in the 0 work area by doing a SELECT 0 first. As far as using the FILE() function, this wouldn't work since the frx table is supposed to be part of the executable, and that function searches the path. Even if the FILE() procedure could tell us if the file existed in the executable, it doesn't resolve our problem at all. The issue here is why the program can't find the frx table... sometimes.
