Below is a copy of my odbc.ini entry for the connection I use to the current Oracle project I am working on from foxPro. Within FoxPro, I simply created a conection from project manager by selecting pers_data from the list of odbc clients. The origianal configuration was done with Oracle Net8 easyConfig, supplied with the oracle client drivers. Now, when I connect VFP to my oracle database, it is behind the scenes, no log in or prompt required.
