- do you have enough memory? You should have minimum 16 meg for development

What do you mean when you open another program/application when VFP is open? Do you mean that when you open Microsoft Word while VFP is open, you then have to shut down VFP to do a build again? What makes you close down VFP? Is there an error message. What is happening (or not happening)? Give a specific example.
