Tonight is my night for total frustration with the Report Designer (I see why Crystal Reports has been recommended to me).

I have a numeric field called qtyorder. If I use the simple value qtyorder as the expression for a control, its value prints correctly. However, on the same line of the detail band if I have a control whose expression is IIF(qtyorder > 996,"G","LE") it ALWAYS!!! prints LE !!! even if the value is greater than 996!!!!

What is going on!!
