I also gave up using the data enviornment in reports. Just like Cindy I build whatever cursors I need and then refer to them. However, I find that it is a real pain having to manually type in the field names (not being able to use the field picker).

I seems that any cursors not in the data enviornment can not be picked interactively. Does anybody have a better solution?
