That surely sounds like one of the temporary paths are pointing to a non existent directory. I'd check out the SET TEMP= line in the Autoexec.bat and create a Config.FPW that contains SORTWORK=, PROGWORK=, EDITWORK= and TMPFILES= entries. Also make sure that FoxPro has writing rights on the startup folder.
