An update on this meeting. Calvin will be giving a modified version of his Devcon 99 presentation. In his own words below:

I will do a version of my Devcon session called "Advanced COM". I will also
demonstrate the next version of Visual FoxPro.

Here's a summary of my Devcon session:

Each release of Visual FoxPro has improved application interoperability. The
heart of this capability is COM. We will discuss the implementation and design considerations for some of the ways VFP COM servers can be created.

Examples of publishing VFP interfaces to VB, Excel and VC will be demonstrated. Multiple threading will be discussed extensively, from a beginner's perspective. Examples of multi-threading COM servers will be shown, with emphasis on Web deployment. Practical applications of multi-threading will be discussed.
