There are problems launching a VFP application from the explorer where the compiled app is in a directory containing a space and the registry association for the file type isn't set up properly. Either properly register VFP so that when an app launches, it encapsulates the full path of the app with double quotes, or put the programs in a directory whose full path doesn't contain a space.

Make a Setup Wizard-created install to load the runtime and ActiveX components on each target system. This will ensure that the VFP runtime files are in the right location and all registry entries that are needed for VFP's runtime are set up for the users.
