>We are developing a part of a big interagency project on the Mac using VFP3. We will eventually need to connect to a SQL Server system at another agency. Does this work OK on the Mac? Has anyone done it before? We don't have, or have access to SQL Server for me to test this. The documentation claims that it should work, but sometimes claims and realities are vastly different. Thanks for any comments!

Hi Shane, since noone else has responded...

You can download MSDE which is a free scaled down version of SQL server that you could test on. Microsoft claims that you will need no coding changes to move from MSDE to SQL Server. The restriction is that MSDE only allows 5 simulaneous connections which is plenty for development.
