>If drill down through the Tools menu in Word, you can get to the VBA help. You also might try the macro recorder and after stopping the recorder, view the code in the VBA editor. This gives you a sense of the coding that VB looks for. I don't know if the VBA editor in Word lets you view the type library, but the OLE Viewer in Visual Studio will.

Even better is the Word/ Excel object browser in the VBA editor. It gives extensive explanations of the object model, constants, etc. ust hit F2 after you're in the VBA editor.

I have an ofice book, but I never use because the object browser shows everything I need.
