Thanks for your response. The light bulb came on. It seems to me that a pure FTP approach might still be a tad faster, but ultimately limiting.

I understand what needs to be done at the remote end. Based on the things I've done before w/VFP, it sounds pretty straight-forward.

Unfortunately (and I feel pretty silly admitting it), I still have a mental block with what needs to be done at the server end. In other words, I guess I need to ask someone to tell me - in the proverbial 100 words or less, step-by-step - how you go about setting up a VFP app on a Web Server.
