Hi Jeff,

This is Rex Toomey from Oz. I get the "Invalid page fault in VFP6R.DLL @ 023F:0C051FAB", "Illegal operation..." messages at various times and places. In my experience these are due to exhausted resources, windows 95/8 bugs, or NPF bugs not handled very well. A search of the 'Thread using this and similar keywords may give you some suggestions.

You are probably aware of the HP DeskJet printer problems of not releasing resources, etc, which will give a similar message. This has now been admitted by them and apparently fixed in Printer driver version 11.

Had something similar recently with a form that was working and suddenly stopped working with the ubiquitious "Illegal operation...". I did a debug and fund that I had put more than 250 odd chars in a label caption. You would think that MS would give a nice user friendly message, but no...

At this stage, I suggest you try a line by line debug of the form, etc, causing the crash to see which command is causing the error.

Hope this helps,

Rex.
