Yeah, tell me about it. I spent about ten days tracking down that CDX update bug. I'm sorry that fix alone is not doing it for you.

This may be more of a detour than you have patience for but I'm curious if you would have the problem in an evironment without the complex tag which includes the "not deleted()" part. Perhaps test with a single field in all candiate indexes.

BTW, I try never to delete records...
