>3 or 5? actually, i never paid that much attention to it. i build the cursor the report is run against before preview/print and don't erase it til they choose to exit the report function.

We also create the cursor early -- some customers have asked about a 'PRINT' button from preview w/o returning to the report screen. Particular true in apps that we have where you can select alot of reports before for preview.
