Hi Petras --
Kenneth was correct; numerics should work with 0 or 1 as the value range. Perhaps your Value property is set to a logical or something similarly strange. What I also noticed, though, was that the View Designer would get funky if you tried to use is to add "0 as checkval" to a SELECT statement. When I used the manual CREATE SQL VIEW...yadda yadda and then bound the new numeric field to the checkbox, no problem (I used Access as my remote test db).
>Hi, in a select from a remote (non-VFP) table into a local cursor I include '0 as check'. In the grid the checkbox is unchecked but as soon as it is clicked it complains bitterly of 'data type mismatch'. Debugging shows the cursor field 'check' as being numeric which I believe is a valid data type for a checkbox. Can anyone help?
