If a "wait window" message occurs in VFP 6 in a top level form then it may or may not be visible to the user (during development it pops up underneath the VFP screen)
This wasn't a problem in VFP5.

So does anyone know if a fix is coming?

I've worked around it mostly by using text labels and MessageBox but in certain situations like read-only grids VFP just pops one up anyway ("This control is read only")

Is there a way to stop the "This control is read only" message?
