you're right i am not refering to a web site. although that is not a bad a idea for future reference. what i am looking for is a bulletin boad (host) and remote dialins that grab the data from the host and then manipulate that data remotely for reports etc. there are security issues that a website presents that i really dont have the time for (other y2k changes) and also the fact that i know zero about web design, although when y2k slows down i would like to gain some knowlede with web design etc.

anyhow the issue here is still going about developing the Bulletin Board and the remote dialin software. I more or less need to know the communication aspect of vfp, the functions, classes, etc. i'll research for now, any suggestions are helpful.
