This is a good point.

I wonder how many good subjects I skip over just because I have no idea what they are going to be talking about. But, I have limited time and will only read the threads with titles involving subjects that interest me.

Chuck T. got my attention with an earlier post and I have read several threads that he has started since. I guess I am a glutton for punishment ;~)

Just kidding Chuck (if you are reading). I just want to see how things work out.

>I would like to add one more comment to this thread and this seems as good a place as any.
>General subjects are counterproductive. We are all to busy to read every post on UT in detail. I personally rely upon the stated subject to see if it is an area that I am currently exploring, am interested in or have some special expertise in.
>This comment is not directed to anyone in particular but a subject such as: "SOS! Think you can help me?" doesn't really convey anything about the subject matter other than the desperation of the original poster and reposting it several times doesn't make it any better. The reason I suggest that too general of a subject is counterproductive is because some people who could and would help won't even read the original posting.
