Yeah, I got interested in RDS by reading your book. The problem was I needed to register the COM object under the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\...DCLaunch section so that IIS could invoke the component. Now it works.

Since I will be using a VFP database, I'll be relying on VFPCOM utils to change from cursors to recordsets and possibly back. Although I've heard lots of complaints with VFPCOM utils, its been working reliably, we'll see how it goes.
