>What is supposed to fire Receive()? Is it called from a Timer event? What event will call Receive?

It's a socket which mean, the server will send incoming data to the client which will be reflected by the Receive() firing event. When the client send the data using the Send(), the server will react and response back making the Receive() event firing.

The timer as it is now has no relation with the Receive().
