>>Macer and Ed have some good ideas, but there is one other possibility that you might want to check out: Maybe your disk partition is failing or you have a mis-matched boot tracks and command.com so that they don't recognize each other. I have seen this occasionaly when doing some fast-n-loose system upgrades where I got sloppy on which OS was installed to begin with... Other than that, I agree with the recommendation to look into DynaZip -- there was a recent article in FPA about it, too.

>We missed the article in FPA. It's very hard for FPA to have a correct subscriber-database. A few month ago we received FPA twice every month (and we paid for one). We told them about it and pay our subscribtion once again but we don't receive FPA any more.

Glad my worse-case suggestion is unfounded... I always try to keep an open mind and not just concentrate on software and setup alone -- sometimes it pays off...
Regarding DynaZip -- I did get a copy several years ago, but never used it. There have been other threads here about DynaZip, so you might want to search on them for more info and others with more experience using it. I have never run across XCeedZip, so can't comment on it.
Good luck.
