I think you will have to give more detail on what you are trying to do. I generally use cursors or "None" for the RowSource so i'm not quite sure what you are trying to do. However, I would suggest using your SQL to load a cursor, then bind the combo to the cursor. Then you can determine which item in the combo you want displayed initially.
