Check the FAQ and search for "printer" you will find an item regarding this subject. Not sure if the number of copies sticks or not

So if the first report is 3 pages, and the second report is 3 pages, they get pages 1&2 on the same paper, page 3 on it's own, then the first two pages of the second report on the same paper and then the third page of the second report. Is there any way to get each report to start printing on the back of the previous report and avoid these blank back sides between reports.

This is a function of your printer and printer driver. You will need to check the printer manual. Only it your printer is quite high-end would it allow double-sided.
