It could be an out dated DLL, see KB article:

http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q187/9/76.ASPThey are using the RichText control as an example, but this probably applies to the DatePicker also. Good luck in trying to find Oadist.exe, because I can't find it. I think Microsoft is restructuring their website.
