Why word.basic instead of word.application?

I started VBA Programming in Office 95, and some of my users still are on office 95 therefor I can not use the word.application.8 object which is used with office 97. Word.Basic works with both.

I don't understand what the value is behind +{right}+{right}+{right} I mean, what does that do for me? It looks like it moves the cursor right three spaces.

The Value of +{right}+{right}+{right} is that in word if you have a situation where you have four columns and you want to merge the first 3 cells the +{right}+{right}+{right} would issue the shift + 3 right arrows which would select the first 3 cells and then you would issue a merge command which would merge the cells. The problem that I had doing this is that foxpro would issue the commands so fast by the time it got to the merge command nothing was selected yet so you had to issue a wait or a for loop.
