This works great when each page of the report is different. You can set up a template and then use bookmarks to insert the text in the appropriate spots. You also don't have to worry about page numbers, etc. since Word knows it is one document.

This won't solve your front-back problem unless you can find a really good printer that can "flip" the page. The Xerox DocuPrint N17 has this as an option. It's in the $1-2k range so it is not cheap but will solve the problem.
