Do you have a line in the cleanup of your main program (or somewhere else) that says "MODIFY WINDOW SCREEN"? There is a known bug (article Q221728) that makes the program crash on this line of code, only in an .EXE. It is supposedly fixed in SP3.

The program functions perfectly but 2 out of 3 exits cause system crashes with and without memory warnings on a variety of my clients' machines. The code itself is unlikely to be the culprit as the application is a basic windows (vfp) implementation of a long running dos (fox 2.6a) application.
