Maybe some one who knows more about Excel can help. I can't think of too many reasons to not use XL5 or XL8 at this point in time.

>Hmmm...You may be right, I just tried to export using the XL5 setting instead of XLS and it output the dates correctly...weird, anyone have any explainations? A way to make XLS do the same thing? What's odd is that when I exported using XLS on the EXPORT command it output the dates in text, not as date fields...I dunno, whatever, I guess that's the solution, to export in Excel 5.0 format.
