I have an application that is supposed to run in 13 languages. I'm using INTL toolkit for this and it works great generally. My problem comes when I try to run under Japanese Windows. My app blows up building the menu strings, e.g., prompt, message, etc. Under American Windows, it runs fine, although the Japanese chars look goofy, sort of random binary, which I would expect, but under Japanese Windows, the chars look the same, not Japanese, but goofy binary. Does this ring a bell with anyone? I'm wondering if the non-Japanese chars and the string problems with the menu routines I use are related. Thanks in advance.
