Check the converter (FPD screens to VPM forms) in the Files section, by Alejandro Sosa. It will help you a lot to get started.

Meanwhile, you may keep your say/get statements, but you won't like the result. The ultimate answer is "yes, you will have an .scx for each tiny pair of GET statements". Or, you may create a form class which you will instantiate at runtime and populate from a .prg - I did that, and it worked nice and was slick, and was hell to maintain, even when I had all the controls positioning themselves automatically. Having .scx files is just far easier, and the forms are easier to maintain in .scx than in .prg. And, hey, it's visual - you can do some design and make it look like a real Windows app, not like a kludgy DOS port.
