I'm sorry, but I can't help you with this problem. I have never made ODBC calls to Excel files. You might want to go the one of the Excel NewsGroups on Microsoft's site and search for an existing problem as the one you are having or post a message.

I found an artical on the Microsoft Web site that said to check the registry to see the excel dll had the right path and if it did to delete the dll and re-run Office Setup.
