Lloyd,

>I don't seem to be able to get this to work. I have all (that I can see) the lMustKey properties set to .T. yet when I save a record that is missing the mustkey value all saves fine... What am I missing???

Have you set both the lMustKey and Description properties of the control as per the Developer's Guide?

Here's something else you can check. Does the "must-key" control reside inside of a container? If so, check the container's "lMustKeyDrillDown" property. If it's .F., set it to .T. This tells the Framework to drill down inside of the container to check for Must-Key controls.

There's an upcoming change in our "Summer 99" release that obviates the need for this property...but for now you need to set its value.
