For a Dinasaur you sure catch on quick! <g>

Look at Win95. What is it? Packaging! Look at MS MFC, what is it? Packaging! MS with MFC now gives you building blocks (Frames, Views, etc) and you use them to construct an app. What 'your' job is as a programmer is to send 'messages' (logic) to the building blocks to make them work together. So all you have is prepackaged code sewn togther with logic (messages). The only thing different is now the 'mundane work' (object construction -- making frames & views) is already done for you.

The only real advantage I see now using this technology is that there is a 'standard' instead of 'every programmer for themself'!!!
