>>why, whenever I try to use CTRL F within a form method, in order to find (or replace) code, does it always throw me back out to the project manager form? This forces me to cut and paste the code into wordpad or similar where I can use their Find and Replace functions, then paste the amended code back into the form method.

Just tried that - with exactly the same result! Immediate bomb out. The form closes (losing any changes I've made up till then) and I'm back on the Project Manager screen.

The consensus seems to be that this quirk is something to do with my setup rather than vfp, so I'll troubleshoot it and possibly reinstall (again!)

Thanks all

Harry
