I think the problem you're experiencing is: when you add the property to the form, you dimension the array to one element, bear in mind all form controls are instantiated before the form is, so your NumberOfelements = alen(thisform.yourarray) is actually working correctly, if you still want to use it set it programatically after you populate the array
