Have you solved the problem yet? One possibility that did not appear in this thread (as far as I could see) is that there is some problem with the architecture of your VFP application. Did this application ever run correctly on the LAN with more than 1 user on at the same time? If not, then I would suspect an architecture (or multi-user) problem.
One way to check this out is to install a system that is known to work properly on the LAN. Let me know if you have any questions on this approach.
