Paraphrasing Michel's note to the SysOps this morning:

Michel reached an agreement yesterday with his ISP to move the download files into UUNET bandwith. Thus, allowing him to offer download flexibility on the highest bandwith possible. The 250 limit restriction on a file download has since been removed.

Michel also offered a lengthy message to us about what is happening with UT enhancements that we will all benefit from.

When some changes are implemented, there may be some temporary upheaval, but Michel and his technical advisors do analyze any proposed changes before implementing them. They are the last people who want to cause any disruption in services.

Please keep in mind, you are the ones requesting new features, enhancements, etc. I think we can endure small disruptions when changes are made. They do the best they can and do try to cause as little disruptions as possible when changes are implemented.
