Talk to John Gordon (a UT member). A friend of his on the east coast has a client who actually requested April Fools tricks be put in an application that his employees were using. There were some great gags, like an explosion wav that gets played, then all the objects on the form fly to the outside borders. Other things I remember were that it appeared the data wasn't saved when it really was. Moving OK buttons, etc. John could probably tell you more things that were done.
