I'm using the ActiveX textbox (Microsoft Forms 2.0) with VFP 6.0 sp3. The control is bound to a string variable 'thisform.pcDataFromFile' that I fill with fread when the form is shown. Often when I scroll vertically I get catastrophic failure, access violation.

Is there any hope? Has anybody used this control?

I desparately want to use it because I can turn word wrap off and have scroll bars for looking through source data. I can drag and drop highlighted text onto a grid of field names and pick up the row, column and width for data mapping imports. Very nice except for crashes.

A stand alone form with this control does not crash in like manner.
