Funny, ten years ago, I thought Windows was just a passing joke when OS2 was the best choice for a desktop OS. Look at what happened.
I think that Linux is here to stay and with all the resources behind it, it is just a matter of time before it exceeds Windows on all fronts.
History always repeats itself - no OS is an island in the long run. Linux will have it's turn.
>Let's not forget that Linux is just open source Unix. Functionality is nothing that wasn't there before. The problem with all hyped products is, everything is one big assumption. OTOH I'd like to hear from anyone that has succesfully run a VFP or VB application with absolutely no code changes, don't even consider performance.
