The VFP6 docs recommend against using the "set datasession" command because the form it is issued from will have it's databound controls reset. However, this presents no problem to me. I want form_2 to have the same datasession as form_1 so form_2 can loop through the table opened in form_1 with the order, filter, recno(), etc. preserved.

The VFP6 docs also infer the "set datasession" command in intended only for debugging. However, this would be very useful to me.

Am I going to get into trouble using this command? Are others using the "set datasession" command in their distributed apps without problems?
