I agree.

>I wasn't trying to bash, and I apologize if I came across that way. I only wanted to express that I have had nothing but great experience with VFP as a Web app tool. I know that VB and many other tools can also get the job done, but arguing which is better really just comes down to preference, because a pile of arguments could be made for and against any tool you name.

>>My response wasn't meant to be harsh. I just get tired of people bashing others for using different tools than VFP. I think VFP is a great tool for creating client server apps. After another release or two, it will probably be a great tool to create 3-tier apps as well.

>>>Tim,

>>>Thanks for your reply.

>>>All I was asking for was your experiences - please don't assume that the reason why someone asks you this kind of question is to tell you how much VB sucks and how much you should be using VFP. I firmly believe in the philosophy that there is a place and time for every development tool out there. Sounds like you have every reason to use VB based on your experiences. I just wanted some input on where VFP COM objects haven't worked, and wanted to know if you used SP3 or not.
