We are running a large foxpro 2.6 dos program. we have in the past run this program on a novell 3.12 or 3.20 network. earlier this year we moved to NT 4.0. this produces disaterous results. File sharing problems. file locking problems. corrupt file problems. corrupt index problems. people would just get kicked out of the program for no reason.

So we moved back to novell 3.2 which seemed to straigten things out. We then upgraded to novell 4.2. now most of these problems are back almost as bad as they were under NT. Novell 3.2 is significantly slower than NT or novell 4.2 and we really really need the speed of novell 4.2.

I am beggining to suspect the the novell 4.2 file system is somewhat incompatible with fox 2.6 dos.

Does anyone have any ideas about these issues.
