It's really misleading: the "default datasession" is the one which exists when you launch VFP or an exe made in it, and "this form uses default data session" means not that data session, but the one which was active when the form was launched, i.e. it doesn't create one for itself. Though, I remember I got it straight in my head rather quick - but only after a little experimenting and a few UT messages :)
