I downloaded a copy for testing, but haven't gone much further yet... Uses OLE automation with Word97. As I understand it, basically you just start up your app, suspend it, then invoke the automanual APP which drives through the whole menu structure and every button on every form. The sample AutoManual user manual itself is suppossed to have been created from AutoManual with no additions added manually. Its worth a look....

>For more technical docs, I'm not happy with any single tool, and I haven't found any overall tool that handles everything to my satisfaction. I haven't looked at the VFP Documenting Wizard recently, so it may be a reasonable tool at this point. I use DocVCX (freeware) from F1Tech (or was it EPS?) for class library documenting -- 1st class job (pardon the pun) that uses OLE automation into Word97. I have a kludged up FRX for documenting my screen forms and report forms, although I just downloaded something call "FoxDoc" from the Files section here that does some of that, too. I still use FoxDoc from FP-2.6/DOS for my PRGs. I have never seen anything for documenting menus (although I generally build them on the fly from a table, so its not a big deal for me at this time). I also use the cheap Print Screen Deluxe program from American Systems (under $30) for screen shots to printer or BMP (although there are other (free) solutions as discussed in other threads here).
