indeed, but answer me this one while we're on the subject! I want to perform certain cleanup functions once I've released a form. I try to use wontop() and wexist() to tell me whether the form is still around. The code releases the form and I try to run the cleanup from the form's unload method. However, although both wontop and wexist confidently assure me the form is still there (and indeed I can see the damn thing) any further reference to the form comes up with an error along the lines of 'what form?' as though its physical existence is still verifiable (through wontop etc) but that because its given up its name (through the release or unload method) its no longer addressable...
Exactly at what point in the proceedings does a form finally exit from memory?
