I need help

My VFP opens and runs ok till I open another app - Paint Shop Pro, Netscape, Visual Basic etc. Then the menus dont work. File open gives me nothing. The opposite is also the case. If I open any of my apps and then vfp, VFP menus work but not the other apps. I have tried to reinstall windows but to no avail.

I don't want to zap the registry and start all over again. All other apps work with each other - only VFP and other apps.

Any suggestions as its very frustrating developing bitmaps and OCX's and testing in VFP as then its menus dont work and vice versa.
