I tried your suggestion, but to no avail. The .APP works fine, but the .EXE does not. Behavior is exactly the same as I described earlier.

? VERSION(1) returns: Visual FoxPro 05.00.00.0415 for Windows [Oct 21 1997 13:31:18]

Is there a patch I should be using?
