The C5 errors are a whole family of memory-management related errors, similar to a GPF; lots of different things cause them. Many of the root causes for C5 errors were fixed in the update to VFP6 contained in Visual Studio SP3. If you haven't applied SP3 yet, download it and apply it to update your VFP6 installation (there are lots of new features as well as bug fixes, so take a look at the additional .CHM file that is installed.)
