If you double-click the file from Explorer, it'll install itself using REGEDIT. The wonders of file association under Win32 never cease... ;-)

The association between .REG files under Win9x and WinNT is just as automatic as the association of .EXE files with the command processor. It's not a feature of VFP in particular. I'm sure that at worst it was an oversight not to include instructions with the file, but it is a common Windows behavior, and as developers, it should be reasonable to make some assumptions about how much another developer knows about the underlying operating system.
